Exploring the underlying cause of allergies

What is the cause of chronic skin and allergy disorders?

Research now show that most skin and allergy disorders are directly linked to underlying inflammation within the body.

What is the cause of inflammation?

One of the main causes of inflammation is low-grade bacterial, viral and fungal infections in the blood-stream and organs such as the stomach and gastro-intestinal tract.

In addition, new research into the effects of stress and ageing within the body, has demonstrated a direct link between inflammation and a decrease of mitochondrial (i.e. energy) production within the cells of the body.

What are Mitochondria?

The mitochondria are tiny ‘organelles’ within each cell of the body.  They are responsible for generating the energy that drives ALL of the metabolic functions within the body.  Without the mitochondria we would not be alive.

Our modern toxic environment, along with stressful lifestyles is responsible for the diminishment and damage to the functioning of the mitochondria within cells.  The rate at which this affects each individual varies and is dependent on genetic as well as epi-genetic influences.  So, whilst one person may be able to eat and drink whatever they want, another individual may start to experience a break-down in immune function – manifesting in the appearance of skin and food allergies/intolerances.

What is the connection between the mitochondria and inflammation?

When the mitochondria are damaged, our cells become open to the invasion of the good, i.e. beneficial bacteria within the body.  When this happens, the body loses its ability to recognise these bacteria as beneficial or ‘good’, and instead reacts to them as pathogenic forms – such as a virus or parasitic infection.  In response to this perceived invasion, the body signals the immune system to intervene, and sets up an inflammatory response to try and kill of the ‘invaders’.

This is a vicious circle, with the body becoming more and more toxic due to an ever-increasing growth in fungal, viral and bacterial infection within the blood stream and gastro-intestinal tract, whilst at the same time, the body’s remaining ‘good’ bacteria are migrating into the cells, where they are damaging the mitochondria, or underlying energy mechanism of the body.  The result is ageing and deterioration of the body’s energy systems, leaving the individual feeling tired, lethargic and often depressed.

Regenerative Skin Therapy

The Regenerative Healthy Skin Programme is the only treatment programme in the UK to address the complex cascade of events which underlies ALL skin and allergy disorders.

The programme works on 2 levels:

  1. Restore correct gut function with correct diet + correct supplementation.
  2. Restore and re-balance the body’s immune function.

The human body is designed to be inherently self-healing and self-regenerating given the right conditions.

To change our disease progression we need to intervene at the cellular level, where we are being created a-new each day.  Therefore we need to look at the regeneration of health energy at a cellular level within the body.  When our cells regain their ability to produce energy, imbalances within the body naturally begin to clear – and the natural, innate intelligence of the cells is allowed to be re-established so that the body can begin to rejuvenate and regenerate in an ever-increasing state of health.

It is important to remember that our skin cells are renewed after just 30 days.  Our blood cells are renewed after approximately 3 months.  By cleaning and clearing toxins out of the body at a deep cellular level and cleaning the blood, it becomes easy, with each successive month to regenerate beautiful, clean, healthy skin, and eliminate long-standing skin and allergic conditions.

The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patient in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.
